About The Project
Where work feels worth doing.
Atelier Bergmann is the Stockholm headquarters of a Scandinavian fashion house that asked us a question we had not been asked before — can you make an office that people are reluctant to leave? We took the question seriously.
The result is a 1,100 square metre workspace spread across two floors of a 1920s office building in Östermalm. The layout is deliberately non-hierarchical — no corner offices, no glass boxes for management, no open plan either. Instead a series of varied rooms, each with its own character and its own quality of light, that allow people to choose how and where they work throughout the day.
